what anime series do you recommend?

just finished Maison Ikkoku.

I liked the characters and it wasn't too romantic which is good. It felt like I had seen it before too somehow. Now come to think of it Honey and Clover and Wolf and Spice and many other anime I have enjoyed center around love without even a kiss. Maison Ikkoku being older and keeping it all real. It was funny too..
