Strike Witches - Operation Victory Arrow OVAs

At thirty minutes long, I wonder what the merits of showing it in the theatre was: they would've done better to do a straight-to-home release :)

With that said, this OVA was quite the enjoyable watch, and brought back all of the elements that made the TV series and movie fun.



Quite personally, I was pleasantly surprised that this OVA managed to do a subtle commentary on adopting new technology through Erica. Moreover, it seems that Trude's Dirndl dress and the convenient sortie order was a deliberate (but not unwelcome) attempt at some fanserivce, and that element was tied in quite nicely.
