I'm thinking of getting a Playstation 4 controller for use on PC for games like Street Fighter and 2D platformers like Shovel Knight. I was thinking of getting an XBO controller, which has a much better d-pad than the XBox 360 controller, but I saw a video review for the XBO controller and using it in fighting games, and it doesn't seem the best for fighters, and it seems the Dual Shock 4 is just simply better.
I know that a DS4 works well with a lot of games if you do proper setup and use an application called DS4 Tool. Does anyone know if using a DS4 is a good option for Street Fighter on PC? I know that the DS4 is not officially supported, and isn't as reliable as an XBO controller (which is almost 100% reliable in terms of compatibility and being problem-free) but I read that the DS4 is a viable controller option on PC and that they've worked out a lot of rough edges in regards to it.
So what do you guys think - getting a DS4 for certain PC games - yea or nay?
Oh yeah, if I get a PS4 controller configured and up and running on PC, I can freely switch between an XBox controller and a PS4 controller, right? Don't have to worry about conflicting drivers or don't have to have only one set of drivers or the other, and thus, can only conveniently use one controller or the other, right?
