Looking for this kind of anime

Usually, I watch (far too many) harems, or other actions shows, most of which tend to stay in the light-hearted realm. However, after seeing shows such as Psycho-pass, Tokyo Ghoul, and being reminded of Blood +, I'm looking for anime that would fit that kind of bill. I don't know what exactly those kinds of shows classify under, except that they seem to be on the darker side (which I usually avoid because I hate whenever good guys die)... maybe mature? Anyways, I'm sure I've missed quite a few of these anime recently, so I'm looking for stuff that is on the darker side and has aired within the past 5~6 years. I've also seen quite a bit of other anime, and here's a list of what I've seen/am currently watching
