DISAPPOINTMENT with SSD

I installed a few days ago an SSD on a PC with SATA2.



I had the illusion that get more speed, but there has been considerable I have achieved very little.



The machine takes about 50 seconds to boot, when I saw teams that make it much faster. In some, the windows logo barely visible when in mine a few seconds is maintained.



The values are sequential read and sequential write 277 266; in random read and random write 38211 37878.



I've gone from IDE to AHCI and done some optimization, according to a tutorial, but those are the values I get.



I installed the S.O. from 0 and have installed the latest drivers for the motherboard, but still the same.





My team is as follows:

The CPU is an Intel QuadCore Q9300 2.5 Ghz

840 EVO Samsung SSD 256 Gb.



Memory 6Gb ram



Asus P5qPRO



Tarteta: Nvidia GTX 460.



I can do anything else?
