I am building a computer for a home studio, so am looking for a PSU that meets some specifics...
-Needs to be minimum 400w
-Needs to be passive/silent/fanless, or have a good silent/fanless mode up to ~300w.
-Needs to have even, low ripple power, across all rails.
-Needs to have good Electromagnetic Compatibility immunity (and emissions, but mainly immunity/blocking). I live semi-near an airport and power lines so lots of interference flying around, plus want to transport it to other environments with minimal concern... Not even sure where to find good information/tests/reviews on this though :(
The Rosewill Silentnight is my #1 choice right now - http://ift.tt/1ek0IU6
Jonnyguru tells me it is actually a rebadged Super Flower Golden Silent, which pleased me as I know Super Flower makes some good low-ripple PSUs with quality components... http://ift.tt/1ek0FYi
That said, I'm still wondering...
-Is there something more recommendable for a audio/studio PC? Something perhaps higher power with lower ripple and a good silent/fanless mode?
-Is there any good information out there on Electromagnetic Compatibility? Reviews or tests on consumer products would be great, but even information on what PSU components matter most may allow a little speculation on a unit's capabilities based on its components.
Thanks in advance for any help :)
