Need new psu, efficient, low ripple, stable and quiet.

I am looking for a new power supply that is at max 160mm length, so I can use a bottom fan in my Define R5, next the the power supply.

My new video card is overheating a bit because my current SS-1000XP (1000w seasonic platinum) is too long and covers some of the fan screws.

I am also building another computer with spare parts, so no matter what, I need a new power supply anyway.

I am looking for something very efficient, because my dorm room only allows me to use 1500w for the entire room... With fridge, microwave, etc etc, it gets very close to that number. A very quiet power supply that is not running at idle and quiet during gaming (I have a quiet rig). Stability is also a must.

Right now, the available titanium power supplies are very expensive and too long, so I am thinking about using a platinum power supply.

Efficiency and stability wise, it appears the Seasonic SS-660XP2/760XP2 are very good. For 20$ more, I think I should go with the 760XP2 out of those two.

Or is there a power supply that is quiet and better out there? Which one would you recommend?
