Hi:
Im building a new pc upgrading 1 component at the time and im not really sure about what psu to get. right now i have a 7 years old coolermaster 550w watts (extreme power) a z97 board with an i3 4150 1 dimm ddr3 8gb 1600, and a really old ati hd3780.
the prospect finals are i7 4790k, 2 r9 280x (amd for mismatch resolutions in eyefinity and 290x is really expensive in my country), 16 gb of ram, 1 ssd, 2 hdd, card reader, led stirps etc.
first i want to upgrade the psu, i dont want to get new components and find out im out of power tu run them, and i can get a evga p2 1000w for less than 200 us dollars, its cheaper than a rm1000 in my country, and $15 US more than a rm850.
what i dont know is if running the P2 with such a low wattage needed right now with my current setup will hurt the efficiency and/or voltage outputs.
thanks in advance
