So hello guys, I'm an idiot; let's get that out of the way first and foremost. I just purchased my first anime wall scroll and while setting it up I forgot to put the cap back on one side of the top plastic rod so the hangars slid off and it fell. Now as far as I can tell the fabric didn't get damaged or anything but part of it got yanked out of the plastic rod, and I'm not sure really how to get it back in. This is what it looks like:

Now I was reading from this site that it says you can just safely slide the fabric out of the rods if you just take both caps off the sides of the rods; however every time I attempt this it feels like I'm going to have to tug pretty hard to make the fabric move and I'm afraid it's going to damage it or just make things worse. My idea is to just slide the fabric out of the top rod and then slide it back in with proper alignment. Is this the correct way to do it, or is there an extra step I'm missing here?
Thanks if anybody knows.
