Advice needed choosing a PSU

mercredi 10 juin 2015

Hello,

as far as I have found this looks like the place to get advice on PSUs. I am currently in need of a new PSU for the following setup:

ASUS P8Z77-V LX motherboard
Intel i5-2400 @ 3.1GHz
2x4GB DD3 and 2x2GB DDR3 RAM
1x 2.5" SSD
3x 7200rpm SATA Hard drives
Nvidia GeForce GTX 760 video card

As far as I understand 650W should be more than sufficient (used to run 750W so correct me if I am wrong) as I have no way to run SLI on this rig.

I am currently stuck at choosing one of the 3 following available to me within my budget

Corsair CS650M - 98,16 EUR
Seasonic S12G 650W - 118,65 EUR
Corsair RM650W - 120,91 EUR

I am mainly hovering over the Corsair CS650M as it is a lot cheaper than the other two. However the reviews I read state that it has a higher ripple compared to the RM650W others. Simply put I do not know if the difference will actually make a big difference.

If I have to choose between the S12G and RM650W I would probably lean towards the S12G despite the fact that I will have a bunch of unused cables that cannot be disconnected.

Perhaps the only other worth mentioning that I have available is Cooler Master V650S 650W at 100,91 EUR.

Which one would you recommend?
