I have a system that does not always boot on first try. Sometimes it will boot, sometimes it won't. Especially when it's cold and it's been sitting for a while there is a good chance it won't boot. It will pass POST then shortly after restart back to POST screen. The second time it will boot no problem, and everything is stable.
Could this be a PSU problem? Although it seems to me unlikely since this is a fairly low power system, despite the age of the PSU.
Only recently started getting this problem. Everything in the system is 6 years and the PSU ran this PC for 6 years except the GT 720, which I installed this year. Before that I had a 4770 and later on a GT 750 Ti. So other low power cards.
Athlon 250 X2
GA-MA770T-UD3P
Nvidia GT 720
1 HD and 1 Optical Drive
Corsair VX550W
