Hi , am new to this website and find it so helpful and awesome , here is my issue , i got this system "h87-pro mobo/4670 cpu/770 asus gpu/ss-850 seasonic psu/16gb ram" what i did for the psu is that i changed the "psu fan" with cooler master fan with like "2000rpm" and connected the cables into the mobo instead connecting them into the psu chip ,i know it's wrong ,cause the noise of the fan was really loud ,also did adjust the fan speed through Asus suite software ,kept it around 1250 average up to 2k rpm. (did few tests while my PC on this psu status like playing games with ultra settings)
so shall i keep this the way it is? or just change the whole PSU ?keep in mind the 770 needs 42 amps on the 12v + rail and at least 600 watt power supply.
any help would be appreciated , thanks .
