Left alone, Eigil fought back and incurred the wrath of Lucy by damaging her house but her wrath quickly subsided and soon she takes interest in Eigil. After learning that Eigil only knows how to kill, she decided to let him stay at her house, educating and take care of him. 2 years passed, Eigil is told by Lucy that he is permitted to leave her place. Eigil confess that he wants to be with her, but Lucy said that she cannot leave this place. On the day of Eigil departure, they both exchange a promise that if Eigil become a king and own the land of Erg forest, that's the time when he can come and take her as his woman. Making the promise as his life goal, Eigil set out on a journey, to become a hero, a king, and found his own kingdom.
