Its Japanese so hopefully it has some place here.
Anyway, I've finally gotten around to installing and playing Gran Turismo 6 and I don't know what to make of it. I've always loved these games so I didn't even bother to read any reviews and its thrown me.
It still has much of what I love about it but some stuff is missing that affects the experience and some stuff I would expect to be introduced by this point aren't.
Firstly, no used cars. The whole buying a used car and making it race worthy was a big deal for me. It felt real, that's how Sunday and amateur cup races often work, checking the used car list for a gem, buying it and tuning it up.
Without that, it feels like an important part of the immersion is gone.
The other thing is the custom track editor, I was hoping that would be improved but now it just seems to be gone.
And still no livery editor/bodywork stuff (or very limited).
It just feels like it has lost something and hasn't progressed how I'd like it to .
