Is my AX760i PSU faulty?

(Copied and pasted from post made on Corsairs forums)

So I've been having on-off trouble with my rig for a few months now.

A while back, one morning when I got up and turned on my comp, it refused to start and simply stuck itself in a reset loop (Exactly like the video this guy posted in the following thread http://ift.tt/15bRCVj )

I took my rig apart, gave all cables a good checking and made sure no components were loose and started up the comp. A few weeks later, same thing happened, this time however it was a lot more troublesome to get the comp up and running again. It happened a few more times, random comp shut-downs with the comp only managing to get into this restart loop so I took my whole rig apart and re-assembled, as though building from scratch.

Comp worked fine for about a week then started playing up again and now, it's at the stage where I can get the computer up and running for anywhere between 5-20 minutes before it shuts down. Upon shutting down, it sticks itself into the restart loop and the only way I can get the comp up and running again is to turn the power off, wait, try again later.

I've tried the self-test on the PSU, comes back green. I even tested it immediately following a shut-down, came back green. I've tried removing various components, GPU / Sound Card / Disconnected various fans etc. etc.

What's going on here? Is this the PSU or am I suffering from a short on some other component? I made a post on another forum ( http://ift.tt/15bRFAF ) which might hold a bit more info.

Really desperately looking for help and advice before I start purchasing components to replace stuff that might not be broken to begin with.

Update 1

So here I am, sitting on a mostly new build. Got a new motherboard, new CPU, new RAM, new case. It all worked fine for about a day and then this morning, bam, the computer shut itself down instantly and got caught in that reboot loop (PSU having detected a short?)

First thing I did was remove my storage HDD to be certain it wasn't that (After having read kyouhou's problems), now I'm waiting to see if removing the CDRW will help but I've never had problems with it before.

So now I'm left looking at.. the PSU itself is faulty? It always passes the self-test but I'm running out of options in the process of troubleshooting.
