Hi All!
Im about to embark on a customer Helmer Render farm build for Freelance work (see http://ift.tt/1yvDCTf), basically a bank of 6x nodes of Intel 4770s chips on a pretty standard miniITX m/b, 8gb RAM and 64gb SSD. I won't be working on these machines just rendering!
Anyway, I was thinking of using a 1U slim PSU in each node instead of the pico-PSU in the link as i've heard mixed things about them.
After a bit of googling, the Seasonic 250SU (http://ift.tt/1yvDCm4) sounds the most promising.
Can any think of any reason not to go down this road or any other suggestions?
Cheers,
Sam
