There have been several complaints about Antec Edge's/XFX XTR's idle fan noise. Here's a recording of Antec 550W @idle, source of complaint is better audible in the second half, you may need to turn the volume up (there is some mic checking earlier, so watch out for that):

That kind of noise is familiar to me... when dealing with sleeve bearing fans of mediocre at best quality. According to reviews, Edge has FDB Hong Hua fan. A question pops up: is that REALLY an FDB fan? Protechnic FDB fans lacked this kind of noise.
