Looking for a very old Anime series!

Hi! I need help finding very old anime series. I watched it over 10/20 years or so. So it may be even older then that.

It's about a guy who uses pegtop to summon a monster(?). And other guy uses bow to summon monster, by shooting the arrow into the sky. Also when they summon them using bow/pegtop a mark/symbol appears (similar like in HS DxD etc etc). I can't remember what they looked liked.

The character using bow from what I remember was fat/short, and very psychically strong.

I think they were trying to find people who can use those items IIRC. It were items that were destined for certain people.

I also remember some old (short) man, and some big tree :confused:.
